Yesterday I went over to my friend Kerrie’s house for Tea and Crafts and Crumpets (aka cookies, pastries, and other yummies). Kerrie has a fantastic blog called Sea Kettle Diaries — go check it out! She’s super creative and had a bunch of girls over today for crafts. Most people brought something to work on, but since I didn’t really have anything I was working on at home, she provided some stuff I could get creative with.
Some of us made MOD PODGE PICTURE MAGNETS! This is a great gift idea, or if you’re like me, and don’t have many magnets on your own fridge, make some for yourself! I was like a magnet making factory. I just couldn’t stop finding cute pictures I wanted to make magnets out of. đŸ™‚
Here’s all you’ll need:
- Some magazines you can clip pictures out of (or find pictures online and print them out)
- Mod Podge
- Glass pebbles ($1 at the Dollar Tree for a whole bag of them!)
- Magnets to glue onto the back of the stones
Here was the result of my afternoon. I had a lot of fun, and these are super easy! Thanks for the great idea, Kerrie! She also told me you can get some Altoid tins, mod podge-decorate those, and put a few magnets inside the tin to give as gifts.
